Romana (second persona)
portrayed by Lalla Ward
Romana regenerated at the beginning of Destiny of the Daleks (September 1979) into Princess Astra's old body. She remained with the Doctor even in direct disobedience to the High Council on Gallifrey. She opted to remain in E-space rather than return to her own people. She left him in Warrior's Gate in January 1981. She appeared in The Five Doctors as well as Dimensions in Time.
