Nyssa of Traken
portrayed by Sarah Sutton

Nyssa was a princess from Traken who joined the Doctor in Keeper of Traken (January 1981) when her father was killed by the Master.  She remained with the Doctor through his regeneration into his fifth persona and left the show tearily in Terminus which aired in Feburary 1983. She was known for her gentle nature and her technological abilities.
