Dr. Grace Holloway
portrayed by Daphne Ashbrook
Grace Holloway was a cardiovascular doctor encountered by the Doctor after he was stabbed. She inadvertantly killed him trying to save him. Later the Doctor regenerated into his eighth persona. She remained with him during the one movie (May 1996). As far as I can tell, she was the only companion to be a love interest.
